delicious forms.

Founded with a passion for reading and a little bit of mischief, TRR is an
independent, woman-owned bookshop dedicated entirely to the art of romance.
With operations beginning from a dining room table in May of 2025 to have expanded to its second chapter to vending at local markets and operating from a mobile bookshop.

Our curated collection is dedicated to romance readers of all varieties. We
carry messy to magical to marvelously smutty. From dark, brooding anti-heroes
to cinnamon roll queers, morally gray monsters to spicy sapphic soulmates. Looking for a Hear Me Out? We got you covered.

At our core, The Ravished Reader is built on the belief that everyone deserves
to see themselves ravished on the page. That’s why we proudly feature and
uplift stories written by women, queer, Black, BIPOC, and other underrepresented creators. You’ll find our shelves (and carts!) overflowing
with inclusive romance novels and bookish goods from indie and traditional
authors, small presses, and diverse makers who are rewriting the rules of
love—literally.
